Basil, Riley compete in important race for control of state house

GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) — Steve Riley and Danny Basil both hope to become the next person to be the state representative for the 23rd district.

The republican, Riley, is well known in the county for being the Barren County High School boys basketball coach.

Likewise, democrat Danny Basil, is well known for being county attorney and practicing law in the Barren County community.

Both democrats and republicans are targeting this race as an important seat to who will have the control of the state house.
